Uzi previously claimed he would pay one man’s college tuition if he graduated, a claim the man is still reportedly waiting to be fulfilled. Cordae has been kind to his fans but noted he has to draw the line at paying for college.
During one of his shows, the rapper could be seen pausing for a second to take a look at what one fan’s sign in the crowd said. Cordae said, “What does your sign say? 'Pay my college tuition.' N***a, hell no. Do I look like Lil Uzi or something?” Despite the hilarious moment, Cordae previously launched an initiative that donated proceeds from a project he appeared on to scholarship funds for students looking to go to HBCUs.
