The news was reported by Variety, who spoke to a representative for West. The rep confirmed a report from The Blast that said West’s team got a phone call from the Grammys saying he was “unfortunately” removed from the show, due to his “concerning online behavior.” News of this comes despite the fact West is nominated for five 2022 Grammy awards. When speaking on the report, West’s representative reportedly sent a message that only said “This is confirmed.”
The move was more than likely made due to West’s recent words he fired off at comedian Trevor Noah, who is the host for the Grammys this year. News of this comes after West was banned from Instagram for 24 hours. Stay tuned for more updates.
