Taxstone is speaking out from behind bars via social media on Thursday (March 24), where he addressed the shooting at Irving Plaza in 2016 that left Troy Ave wounded and his bodyguard, Ronald "Banga" McPhatter dead.
In an Instagram post on Taxstone's page, audio of Banga's brother, Shanduke McPhatter, speaking about how him, his brother, and Troy Ave went to Irving Plaza after hearing that Taxstone was there. Taxstone captioned the post, "These the dudes that got me in jail .. the dudes that came to get me!! Got me in jail a f****ng fake ass activist SHAUNDUKE MCPHATTER meanwhile this f**k boy been painting a narrative for 6 years that I came to harm him I didn't even know I was going and if I would have seen his name on the flyer I wouldn't have went I been avoiding these roach ass n***as !! But now he decides to snitch on himself and say they knew I was there-...... hmmmmm."
Taxstone also shared audio of Casanova 2X telling The Breakfast Club that he was the one who asked Taxstone to go to Irving Plaza with him that night. Taxstone opened up more on Twitter, where he addressed Troy Ave, stating, "Lying about losing a million dollars lying saying I came to the club to kill you I ain't I ain't know I was going to that dumb ass club." On Twitter, Taxstone also stated that he and his team have been ready for his trial since 2017, but he added that he hasn't been informed about a trial date.
