E.D. Boyd spoke about how the infamous drug dealing crew was officially formed following the addition of Meech to his crew. Boyd laid out how his nephew brought Meech to strike up a conversation about working for ED when he was around 14 or 15-years-old. He said that soon after bringing Meech on board, business began booming and Meech brought along his brother and another associate in what would eventually become the 50 Boyz.
