RondoNumbaNine has been serving a 39-year prison sentence after a 2014 murder of a taxi driver. Last year, the rapper delivered an update to fans, saying he wasn’t letting his spirits fall low while locked up. Now, Rondo has taken to social media to say he is trying to come home this year.
Via Twitter, the rapper went on to say, “They say I’m supposed to come home when I’m 56, I’m tryna come this year!” He continued saying, “S**t coming together for me, it’s a fight. My lawyer on it [though] I appreciate everyone staying down 💚.” As of now, RondoNumbaNine has done almost eight years in prison. Stay tuned for more updates.

Chicago rapper RondoNumbaNine shared a message on his Instagram page after surpassing the 7-year mark in prison. The then-19-year-old rapper was sentenced to 39 years in prison for the 2014 murder of a taxi driver, and he let his fans know that he's not letting his spirits get down behind bars.
He wrote, "Been gone 7 still got that feelin in my heart still got that real shit in my veins! See, I was already getting that back then but now imma a different type turned into a real rare breed thru my experience I showed y’all I’m like no other (Rondonumbanine), just thinking about my legacy I had to zone all the way in dodge the hate but I showed I’m really that thru my daily activity’s ! It wasn’t hard it wAs more like go more harder show em this shit run to deep ! put it like this u can hate on me and hate real or u can respect me and become more realer choose wisely cuz I ain’t letting up."
