Following the Lakers' loss to the Pelicans on Sunday (March 27) night, LeBron James spoke with reporters about his ankle injury.

LeBron rolled his ankle after setting up for a rebound when he stepped on Pelicans center Jaxson Hayes' foot. LeBron collapsed to the floor, but he was able to get up and play for the remainder of the game, much to his own surprise.

James spoke about the injury, stating, "I was going in for an offensive rebound and me and Jaxson basically stepped at the same time. He got his foot on the ground before I could get my foot back on the hardwood. I stepped on his foot and rolled my ankle."

LeBron added, "I mean, I have no idea how I finished the game, to be honest, after watching that replay. It’s pretty nasty." He added, "It’s horrible right now. And unfortunately, we’re about to hop on a flight, too. See what happens day-to-day. But it’s pretty sore right now."
