Lee Daniels recently hopped on stage during a comedy show put on by Mo’Nique and publicly issued an apology, saying, “I am so sorry for hurting you.” Daniels went on to say he and Mo’Nique were best friends at one point. Since then, 50 Cent has chimed in with thoughts on the reconciliation between the two.
Via Instagram, 50 posted a photo of Daniels and Mo’Nique, along with that caption: “😧Mo you know I love you, you know 50 ain’t wrapped all the way right. Tell them crazy n***as we cool. LOL 😆Ok NO PROBLEM, WE BACK IN MOTION👏👏👏.” On another post, 50 posted the video footage of Daniels apologizing, along with the caption, “all jokes aside @leedaniels, that was all she wanted. @therealmoworldwide 😉.”
50’s commentary is important because he sparked a push for Mo’Nique to get back into mainstream movies and media while calling out Daniels, Tyler Perry, and Oprah for allegedly blackballing the comedian and actor. Take a look above.
