The surges in gas prices have affected many across the country, with the price of gas rising as high as seven dollars or more in some areas. Now, rapper Rod Wave has chimed in with his thoughts and even offered a solution for people in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Via Instagram, Rod Wave posted a video of himself at the gas station, saying, “Gas high as f**k.” The rapper then noted he plans to give away free gas based on how high fuel is in the area. The rapper said, “St. Petersburg, Florida, St. Pete, 727 — giving away free gas April 9 at the Sunoco on 34th right before you get on the bridge. April 9, I’m giving away $25,000 in free gas. So April 9, 12 o’clock, pull up and get you a free full tank.” The gesture from Rod Wave followed him, showing that it took $100 to fill up his gas tank. The April 9th event was confirmed by a police spokesman, who confirmed officers would be working traffic duty that day. Take a look above.
