SZA and Doja Cat took home their first-every Grammy award on Sunday (April 3) night for best pop duo/group performance for their song, "Kiss Me More."
As the cameras panned to SZA, many were shocked to see the singer using crutches to walk to the stage. After accepting her award alongside Doja Cat, who nearly missed the moment due to taking a bathroom break, SZA spoke to Billboard backstage about her injury.
She stated, "It’s very funny because I fell out a bed right before it was time to leave and get ready for this. Like the day before, but that's the way it goes. Everything awesome in my life has always come with something like very random, but it just adds to the energy."
