In this VladTV clip, CJ was asked about “Whoopty” blowing up. The rapper then said TikTok played a part, as he created the ‘Whoopty’ challenge, which led to thousands of videos being created as people joined in. From there, CJ talked about going double platinum, and what led him to sign with Warner. CJ said “it’s not about the money,” as numerous labels including Def Jam and Universal approached him. When speaking about Warner, CJ said “they had a vision for me.”
From there, CJ talked about the controversy after he released his double-platinum record. The rapper said people have tried to pin names on him like “rip off,” “industry plant,” and more, which he says is false.
