--------
In this clip, King Los talks about the making of his famous "10 Minute Freestyle." He said that rap, in particular, opened doors for him in the music industry and it landed him pitch meetings with Dame Dash, P. Diddy, and Jay-Z in New York. As the story continues, King Los shares the details about the way P. Diddy courted him for an entire evening at recording studios like "Daddy's House" and restaurants like "Justin's" before they finally settled on a record deal that made him a part of the Bad Boy family.
As the discussion unfolds, King Los opened up about getting his first record deal with Da Bloc Inc. after being introduced to the owner via his neighbor and friend. From there, King Los explained how Da Bloc was like BMF in Baltimore, and he went on to detail how they were getting a legitimate label set up while he was signed. All while putting together his debut album and working with Bad Boy, King Los spoke about how it was strange that no one from Da Bloc came to the studio on the last day. It was then that he got news from the CEO that the CEO's girlfriend was kidnapped for a $1 million ransom, which they were given, but the girlfriend didn't make it.
