Late last year, it was reported that Meagan Good’s estranged husband DeVon Franklin filed for divorce from the actor. The couple previously released a joint statement explaining the split, saying “There's no one at fault, we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love.” Since then, Franklin has taken to social media to show the pain he’s been experiencing since revealing their split. Franklin posted a now-deleted picture of him crying, along with a caption saying he was “fully in pain and peace as we start 2022.” Now, court documents have materialized noting the former couple’s divorce has been finalized.
Court documents for the couple revealed that Franklin is asked for a judge to grant a default since his ex hasn’t shown up for any court dates. The Hollywood producer said he is not asking for any attorney fees, costs, or spousal support, and neither is Meagan Good. Reports noted that Meagan Good never hired a lawyer or filed any paperwork on her own related to the matter.

DeVon Franklin took to Instagram to speak about being "fully in pain and peace as we start 2022," accompanied by a picture of him crying. This comes after Franklin, and Meagan Good announced they are getting a divorce after nine years of marriage.
Franklin explained the message behind the photo, writing, "I took this picture a few months ago, I'm not much of a crier so in a moment of deep pain and peace, I took this picture. It captures best how I feel."
He added, "I share this with you because it is the most honest way to start this year. ... So often I've come into a new year with all the things I hope to do better and I would carry around this feeling of 'I didn't do enough last year' or 'I'm not enough so I must do…more. I'm breaking my addiction to the 'new' and working on being fully committed to what's 'true.'" You can read his full post above.
