The Los Angeles Lakers’ season has concluded, and many have been speculating what will come next for the franchise. Russell Westbrook’s future on the Lakers has been a topic, and now LeBron James has addressed the matter during an exit interview press conference.
After the Lakers’ game last night, James was asked about Westbrook and what could possibly happen with the star player. LeBron went on to say he can’t predict the future or control it. James did show love to Westbrook, saying, “One thing about Russ that I love and always love is his competitive spirit and what he brings to the game every night.” He then called Westbrook “reliable” before saying, “I’m not going to sit here and make decisions for the front office. I love being teammates with Russ. That’s just what it is.” News of this comes after it was revealed the Lakers have parted ways with coach Frank Vogel. Watch LeBron James’ statement above.
