According to reports, a judge has reportedly allowed the tattoos of rapper YNW Melly to be used as evidence of gang affiliation in his murder case.

CEO of Lawyers for Workers—Moe Gangat, spoke about Melly’s case and revealed some news about the storied rapper. Via Instagram, Gangat said, “The prosecutors say that that is going to be evidence that they are going to use to prove that one of the reasons behind this murder was a gang affiliation.” The lawyer continued saying, “Under Florida law, that's an enhancement. It subjects you to, I think, the death penalty if you get convicted of murder with a gang connection.”

Gangat said more motions are expected to come ahead of the trial for Melly. The lawyer said, “This coming week, the judge is going to hear a motion seeking to exclude the prosecution's expert witness who says that the fatal shots came from the backseat.” Stay tuned for more updates.
