When it comes to the Mayweather family, you can certainly question a variety of their behavioral choices. But, what is not up for debate is their willingness to throw down for something that they are passionate about.

In April 2020, that very notion was on full display when Yaya Mayweather pulled up to NBA Youngboy's house to visit the father of her child. What she did not anticipate was that another one of Youngboy's baby's mothers, named Lapattra Lashai Jacobs, also had the same idea. Shortly after the two women encountered one another at Youngboy's house, they got into an argument. The verbal spat took a turn for the worse when Mayweather grabbed two knives and stabbed Jacobs.

Shortly thereafter, the daughter of Floyd Mayweather Jr. was placed under arrest for assault with a deadly weapon. When her hearing began in Houston, the 21-year-old was looking at the real possibility of doing a 20-year bid in prison for her transgression. But it was reported today that the prosecutors are only suggesting six years of probation after Yaya pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. As a result of her guilty plea, Yaya's punishment is expected to be community service or restitution.

Yaya Mayweather is due back in court on June 16th, where she will receive a verdict and her sentence. For more on this story, keep it locked.
