According to reports, actor Cuba Gooding Jr. pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor forcible touching charge after initially facing six counts of sexual abuse and forcible touching for non-consensually kissing a woman at a nightclub in 2018.
Per PageSix, Gooding's "plea deal, which allows the star to keep working, requires him to continue treatment for alcohol abuse," and if he complies with the terms of his plea deal the charge will be reduced to a non-criminal violation in six months.
“We fully credit and believe all of the survivors in this case and thank all of the women and other witnesses who cooperated with our office during the pendency of our investigation,” said Assistant District Attorney Coleen Balbert.
