Benzino and his issues with his daughter Coi Leray have been playing out publicly. Now, Coi Leray has responded to Benzino speaking on her sales projections for her album 'Trendsetter,’ which recently dropped. The album is allegedly projected to move 11,000 units in the first week. Benzino previously posted a story from a person online who said the rapper’s album may have sold more if she had a feature from her father on the project. Benzino added laughing face emojis to the reposted story and later said he was hacked.
Via Twitter, Coi Leray said, “God has been the best father to me. I can’t complain about anything. My debut album is amazing and not one song can you say is bad. Its been 5 days. I understand Coi Leray is so viral & works good on blogs headlines but trust me, it’s all part of the game just ride out and stay focus.” The rapper then spoke about the stories created around her album and how she won’t let those opinions hold her back. “One thing y’all should know about me, I don’t fold under pressure. This lil body got thick skin, baby. Only me can stop me,” said the “No More Parties” rapper. Take a look above.
