According to reports, Roderick “Pooh” Clark, an original member of the group Hi-Five, has passed away. 

Hi-Five group member Marcus Sanders gave insight to TMZ as to what happened, noting Clark passed away this past Sunday. The singer reportedly faced complications from an infection and pneumonia at a hospital in Waco, Texas. 

Sanders went on to say that Pooh Clark got into a bad car crash 30 years ago in Florida that resulted in him being paralyzed from the neck down. Because of that, Clark could not walk and developed an infection that spread through his body. In the last two weeks, Clark also developed pneumonia due to being in and out of the hospital frequently up until his passing. 

For those unaware, Pooh Clark was a part of Hi-Five, the group known for their hit song “I Like The Way (The Kissing Game).” The group also had other hits like “She’s Playing Hard to Get.” Roderick “Pooh” Clark was 49 years old.
