According to reports, Stevie J’s divorce attorney has dropped him as a client in the ongoing divorce proceedings with Faith Evans.
In November 2021, it was noted that Stevie J and Faith Evans were filing for divorce from one another. Previously, reports surfaced saying Stevie J was asking for spousal support. Now, Stevie’s lawyer revealed the producer had been dropped as a client. Kimia Klein of the Fox Rothschild LLP law firm noted she could not move forward with working for Stevie J due to an “irremediable breakdown.”
In court documents, Klein wrote, “Despite several attempts by my office to informally resolve the issues with Steven, we have been unsuccessful in resolving the issues.” She said, “I feel compelled to articulate that the relationship has broken down sufficiently so that my colleagues and I cannot continue to represent Steven and that conflicts have risen.” As of now, Stevie J hasn’t objected to the move made by his ex-lawyers. Stay tuned for more updates.
