Coi Leray and her father Benzino have a notedly tumultuous relationship and its been on full display over the last few weeks with many public back-and-forths. The latest instance was on Tuesday when Benzino was tweeting what seemed like high-praise for his daughter but what she seemingly considered to be cap.
"Man listen," Benzino posted Tuesday on Twitter. "If me and my daughter Coi did a project right now y'all [motherf*ckers] would be in trouble. Big Faxx #zinovstheplanet."
This expression of public support comes just days after Benzino allegedly clowned the first week sales projection of her album.
"To all [you] weirdo [motherf*kers] who like to throw shade at me about MY daughter, understand this – she's MY DAUGHTER, I made her, raised her, love her, and [am] proud of everything she's doing," Benzino tweeted.
He continued, "Y'all just met her, I've known CC my whole life," adding, "So keep supporting her because she wins, then I WON," he concluded.
This obviously didn't sit well with Coi who tweeted back, "You want me to post these screen shots of what you said to me? Or you wanna just chill or go get help? Lmk"
