Multiple reports confirm rapper Pooh Shiesty has been sentenced to over five years in prison for a federal firearms conspiracy charge that he pleaded guilty to earlier this year.

Pooh Shiesty's case stemmed from an incident in Florida, where he was accused of shooting a 28-year-old in the buttocks while attempting to purchase marijuana and sneakers. Following his guilty plea in January 2022, prosecutors agreed to drop three other charges the rapper was facing, which could have resulted in a life sentence in prison. However, the rising rap artist was facing a maximum eight-year sentence before the judge gave him a 63-month sentence.
