According to XXL, A$AP Rocky has been released from jail after posting $550,000 bond. The Los Angeles Police Department issued a statement regarding Rocky's arrest and provided more detail about the alleged altercation:
"The argument escalated and resulted in the suspect firing a handgun at the victim," the statement reads. "The victim sustained a minor injury from the incident and later sought his medical treatment. Following the shooting, the suspect and two additional males fled the area on foot. Detectives worked diligently to investigate and corroborate the reporting information, which helped identify the suspect(s) involved."

According to TMZ, A$AP Rocky was arrested on Wednesday (April 20) morning after his private jet landed at LAX. Rocky reportedly flew from Barbados to Los Angeles, and eyewitnesses tell TMZ that police handcuffed him at his terminal inside of the airport.
NBC News reports that Rocky's arrest stems from a 2021 shooting that happened on the evening of November 6 around 10:20 pm. One man was wounded in the incident, and he claims that Rocky approached him in the street while holding a handgun. The unnamed victim claims that Rocky shot at him three or four times, grazing him in the hand.
