Kodak Black took to Instagram to reflect on his time in prison, where he said he kept a picture of City Girls rapper Yung Miami.

The "Super Gremlin" rapper started off showing love to Cardi B's sister, Hennessy Carolina, and then turned his attention to Yung Miami. Kodak wrote, "Her Too. I Love This Woman. This My F**kin Baby Right Here. Don’t Let That Dumb Ass Song Fool Y'all , She BEENNN F**ked Up Bout Lil Kodak Since Throwback ! This Was My Go To Picture When I Was In Prison. Lol I'll Cut My Pinky Off To Patch Sh*t Up Wit Her."

Kodak and Yung Miami have had a volatile past, which included Kodak proposing to the City Girls rapper with a ring pop in his "Christmas in Miami" video. However, when Yung Miami announced her pregnancy with producer Southside while Kodak was in jail, Kodak released a freestyle where he rapped about wanting to punch Yung Miami in the stomach. He later apologized for his comments, writing on Twitter, "#YungMiami Gimmicks Are For Suckas, As I Sit Back I Realize How Petty That Move Was And As A Man It's Certain Things We Refrain From."

It appeared that Kodak and Yung Miami's relationship was altered greatly after his comment, as she shot him down in her 2021 single "Rap Freaks," where she stated, "I can’t even picture myself f**kin’ on lil’ Kodak." This is the song that many people on social media believe Kodak was referencing in his post about Yung Miami, which you can read in full above.
