In this clip, Awich spoke about the origin of her stage name and broke down its meaning. She revealed that she wanted to change it at times but would always be reassured by others that she made the right choice. Elsewhere in the clip, Awich discussed making a “vulgar” video for “Brainwashing” and what her true feelings are about shooting music videos.
Later, she discussed the title of her new album ‘Queendom’ and what she hopes the project will motivate within people. She described what her “queendom” would be like and the type of inclusive space she hopes her music helps cultivates. She later talked about how to expand her reach to a bring in a more global audience.
