Pusha T has been doing promo for his latest album, ‘It’s Almost Dry,’ and has been very candid about different topics related to the album. Previously, Pusha spoke about why he chose to work with Kanye and Pharrell instead of working with Madlib. Now, Pusha has addressed avoiding speaking on past issues with others in his new music.
While speaking to Power 106, Pusha revealed why he didn’t want to rehash any old beef in his new material. “I’ma be honest with you… Listen, you know I be centered around drama… Whether it be the Drake stuff or whatever, it’s whatever with me. Like, I don’t run from it, I don’t hide from it. Whatever,” said the rapper. He continued saying, “I specifically didn’t put that energy on this album because it’s like, the album was going so good, and that was such a dated thing to me. That was 2018!”
Pusha then addressed his “The Story of Adidon” diss towards Drake, saying, “I did what I did, I really did it. I did everything I did, and I really stood on it… On the album, I was like, 'I'm not going back in time.' This ain’t, like… It would sort of make me kinda washed, to me.” Take a look above.
