The mugshot for recording artist Rod Wave has surfaced after he was reportedly arrested in St. Petersburg, Florida. Rod Wave, whose real name is Rodarius Marcell Green, was arrested on a warrant originating out of Osceola County, He was taken into custody on charges of "battery by strangulation."

Video footage and news recently surfaced of Rod Wave dealing with the police. Footage shows the rapper shaking his head, while the lights of cop cars flash on his face. Rod Wave can be heard saying, “This is lame, this is why I don’t even come here,” before the video cuts off.
An arrest record shows the rapper was taken into custody by St. Petersburg police in the early hours of May 2. The charges against him simply say he was arrested for “Battery by strangulation.” It was noted that he is awaiting trial. Details as of now have been limited. Stay tuned for more updates.
