Yung Bleu has been vocal about most aspects of his career, being candid about the ups and downs of being in the music industry while having a successful career. The rapper recently spoke on solely not having to perform for money, saying “I’m glad I’m rich enough to not have to perform [where] they don’t [want] me. I’ll cancel and stay home and sleep lol.” 

The rapper also spoke about the management deal he once had with Meek Mill’s label, noting he no longer is in business with the brand. Now, Bleu has taken to social media to officially reveal he’s changing his name. Via Twitter, the artist said “IM NO LONGER YUNG BLEU . ALL MY NEW RELEASES WILL BE under ‘BLEU’.” On Instagram, he reposted the tweet and added: “GOODBYE TO YUNG BLEU… it’s officially just BLEU. All caps 👍 and we not negotiating.” Take a look above.
