In this clip, Guapdad 4000 talked about the making of “Costa Rica” and how he landed Ski Mask the Slump God on the song. Guapdad also detailed performing the song for DJ Khaled who pulled up to the studio session. He said that he knew “Costa Rica” would be a hit after coming up with the hook.
Later, Guapdad 4000 talked about crying tears of joy after the Grammys despite not winning his category. He said that people around him tried consoling him but it was actually the moment the chip was off his shoulder. Guapdad also said he started rapping differently after the Grammy nom. Lastly, he recounted the bet he made with Drake over the Raptors vs Warriors and the incident that occurred just before he fulfilled the bet.
