Previously, it was revealed Yung Joc was arrested for child abandonment. The rapper posted bail and went to a radio station to clear the air on the now-viral situation. Joc went on to say in his case, the child abandonment situation was not all it was made out to be. Joc said “I’ve been paying up ahead, to stay ahead, because I didn’t want no smoke… Once I realized I didn’t have to pay you this much money… It wasn’t that I realized, it was that I came to a point, you know, I’m about to get married, and I got to take my time and put my finances toward my wedding. But I had spent so much money on child support for this particular child. Now, that person got mad, the mother got mad and felt like you’re supposed to keep paying me this.”
Joc then went on to say he told the woman they should go to the lawyers to formally create an actual child support structure and payment, due to the fact they never officially established a plan together. Watch above.

News surfaced noting rapper Yung Joc was arrested for child abandonment. The rapper was arrested and taken to Gwinnett County Jail this past Thursday around 3 am.
Gwinnett County inmate records say the rapper was issued a misdemeanor charge for Abandonment of Dependent Child. Joc didn’t spend too much time in jail, though, as he posted a $1,300 bond and left jail around 5 am. Reports allege the rapper may have been petitioned by one of the mothers of his children for child support. Stay tuned for more updates.
