Kendrick Lamar recently dropped his latest album ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’ a double album that finds him addressing many topics, including sex addiction and cheating on his fianceé. Kendrick also gave his take on COVID-19 and Kyrie Irving’s stance on the vaccine.
On the track “Savior,” featuring Baby Keem, Kendrick addressed Christians who won’t take the COVID-19 vaccine due to religious beliefs. From there, the former TDE rapper then called out Kyrie Irving.
“Seen a Christian say the vaccine mark of the beast/Then he caught COVID and prayed to Pfizer for relief/Then I caught COVID and started to question Kyrie/Will I stay organic or hurt in this bed for two weeks?” said Lamar. Throughout the last NBA season, Irving couldn’t play in Brooklyn Nets' home games at the Barclays Center because the public mandate wasn’t lifted until March 2021 in New York City. Listen above.
