According to reports, J. Cole will continue to pursue his professional basketball career after signing with the Canadian Elite Basketball League.
Cole will be playing for the Scarborough Shooting Stars and marks the second consecutive year he's played professionally after hooping with the Patriots Basketball Club of the Basketball Africa League.
"Scarborough is a basketball hotbed that has produced some of Canada’s very best players," CEBL CEO and Commissioner Mike Morreale said when the team was founded. "When the new team hits the court in 2022 it will bring an elevated passion and love for the game, the Scarborough community, and for the next generation of CEBL stars."
The Shooting Stars are hopeful that bringing J. Cole on board will generate some popularity for the team as they embark on their inaugural season.
