In this clip, Aries Spears gave his take on the Joe Rogan N-word controversy. He asked how many times are white people allowed to make “mistakes” such as Rogan’s before those mistakes are actually deemed intentional. So while Aries acknowledged that not all white people are racists, he said as a group they’re universally known for racism.
Later, Aries Spears debated about political correctness within art and the context in which certain offensive things can be seen as funny. Aries gave examples of when blackface has been done tastefully because he claims black people know the difference between being laughed with versus being laughed at. Ultimately, the two agreed to disagree as Vlad continued to assert that certain things should not be joked about or said by certain groups of people about other groups.
