A funeral service in Wisconsin for a man killed by police was interrupted by more violence as multiple people were shot. 

According to reports, gunfire erupted around 2:30 PM during the service for 37-year-old Da’Shontay King who was. killed by police last month. While police have yet to identify the victims, employees of the funeral home indicated that members of King's family were among those injured in the gunfire. 

One attendee told reporters that her aunt was shot in the incident. “She was shot at the gravesite,” said Cortaisha Thompson. “We just left the hospital, she was sent on Flight for Life to Milwaukee. We’re going to Milwaukee now, they just took her there.”

It remains unclear whether police have identified and/or apprehended the suspect or suspects. 

Per WTMJ: 

Da'Shontay King Sr. [was] the man who a Racine police officer shot and killed near 12th and Schiller on March 20. Police said that an officer attempted a traffic stop for a firearms investigation. Police said King got out of the vehicle armed with a firearm. The officer ordered the suspect to stop and comply with commands, but he refused, police said. The officer opened fire. King was pronounced dead at the scene.
