One of the many allegations Bill Cosby faced was that he sexually assaulted a teenage girl while at the Playboy mansion in the 1970s. Now, the opening statements for the civil trial of Cosby and 64-year-old Judy Huth, the alleged victim, have begun.

The trial is happening in California, and Huth’s lawyer Nathan Goldberg issued a statement on Cosby. “He has a sense of invincibility,” said the lawyer. He continued speaking to the jury, saying the ‘Cosby Show' lead “has a sense of entitlement, and no fear.” The lawyer then showed the jury a photo of Huth and Cosby on the day of the alleged assault, noting Huth was only a teen while Cosby was a “star.”

Cosby reportedly won’t be testifying or attending the trial, which is happening at a small courthouse located in Santa Monica. Cosby’s lawyer Jennifer Bonjean issued an opening statement, saying, “We are confident that the evidence will discredit Plaintiff’s 50-year-old allegation.” Stay tuned for more updates.
