Reports surfaced noting a Georgia teen named Quartavius Mender was taken into custody after he threatened to kill a Fulton County sheriff over the arrest of Young Thug and various YSL affiliates who were locked up on RICO charges

The 18-year-old was taken into custody by deputies on May 26. Mender is facing numerous felony charges after he left multiple death threats on the Instagram account of Sheriff Pat Labat, along with the Gwinnett County Sheriff, the Fulton Clerk, and others over the arrests of Young Thug, Gunna, and other YSL affiliates over RICO charges.

Mender reportedly said he would kill Sheriff Labat, his wife, and Atlanta Public Schools Police Chief Rondald Applin unless one of the defendants were let go. Sheriff Labat went on to say, “We take these kinds of brazen threats seriously.” Mender is facing 23 counts of terrorist threats, all of them being felonies. The teen is currently being held at the Fulton County Jail without bond.
