More details have emerged about the events leading up to the tragic murder of Trouble (aka Mariel Semonte Orr). According to an alleged arrest warrant, the Atlanta-based rapper was in the bed of a female companion, when her ex-lover, Jamichael Jones, broke into the apartment in Conyers, Georgia, and proceeded to engage in a physical altercation with them both. This resulted in Jones punching his ex-girlfriend in the face and shooting Trouble in the chest before he fled the scene.

Reports surfaced noting Jamichael Jones, the man who allegedly murder Atlanta rapper Trouble DTE, turned himself in to police. Jones reportedly had other arrest warrants out for him, which included home invasion. Now, via an update from CBS, it was revealed Jones went before a judge who set his court date for a preliminary hearing. Jones will appear in court on June 15, 2022. Stay tuned for more updates.

Previously, it was reported that police issued an arrest warrant for Jamichael Jones in connection to the murder of Trouble DTE. The 33-year-old reportedly shot Trouble while the rapper visited a woman he knew at her apartment. Jones didn’t know Trouble but forcibly entered the woman’s apartment and killed the rapper with a single shot to his chest. 

Since then, Jones turned himself over to authorities on June 6. The shooting of Trouble isn’t the only situation Jones was wanted for. The suspect has several arrest warrants out for him, including aggravated assault and home invasion charges. Stay tuned for more updates.
