The International Boxing Hall of Fame recently held a ceremony to induct a few heavy hitters into the fold. Fighters like Roy Jones Jr., Bernard Hopkins, and more were among the 36 honorees. An anticipated inductee for many was Floyd Mayweather Jr., who delivered a moving speech.
Ahead of his speech, Mayweather walked up on stage and shed tears of joy after being overwhelmed by the honor. Mayweather went on to say, “I said I wouldn’t cry,” then said, “This is unbelievable. This is one of the best days of my life. I love my dad because without him this wouldn't be possible for me.” Legends like Shane Mosley, Andre Ward, and Miguel Cotto were among the inductees who also received the honor. Watch above.
