22Gz has been releasing music constantly, but it appears the rapper may be facing legal trouble, as he was arrested and charged with attempted second-degree murder.
According to the NYC Department of Correction, the New York drill frontrunner was reportedly arrested. The rapper’s bond was set at $500,000, and a court date of July 19 was assigned. 22Gz was detained after landing at the John F. Kennedy airport this past Sunday. The rapper’s arrest stems from a shooting in March 2022, where a man “suffered a gunshot wound to his left foot.”
Those aren’t the only charges 22Gz is facing, as he was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment, and second-degree assault.
