Update 06/15/2022 2:42pm:

It's been just over one month since Young Thug and a vast amount of his YSL associates were indicted on RICO conspiracy charges. Since then, prosecutors at the DA's office in Fulton County have continued to stack the odds against their defendants. One of the latest high-profile defendants to feel the wrath of the DA's office is Walter Murphy. After turning himself over to law enforcement earlier this month, in good faith, a judge denied bond for the alleged co-founder of YSL, much to the chagrin of his defense lawyer, Jacoby Hudson.

“He’s changed, judge! He’s crying. He’s doing the right thing,” Hudson told the judge.

Walter Murphy, the alleged co-founder of Young Slime Life, has turned himself in after being indicted on RICO conspiracy charges.

According to the 28-person indictment, Murphy started YSL along with Jeffrey Williams (aka Young Thug) and one other person who has yet to have been specified. The ongoing takedown of YSL stems from accusations that several of its members violated the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization Act. Although Murphy is only being charged with one count of RICO conspiracy, he is suspected of having been involved in a murder attempt of four different victims and aggravated assault.

Murphy completed the parole process for a previous stint behind bars earlier this year. This time around, he might not be so fortunate. Nevertheless, his lawyer Jacoby Hudson remains in high spirits about the potential of his client's retribution because Murphy claims he is no longer associated with YSL, despite the tattoo on his forehead. For now, Hudson will focus his efforts on getting District Attorney Fani Willis to end the investigation and overturn the charge that Murphy is faced with.
