An incident in Conroe, Texas involving a woman firing off shots inside of a hospital while strapped to a stretcher took place on Tuesday (June 14).

According to ABC 13, Glendar Johnson-Jackson, 65, was taken to HCA Healthcare Conroe ER by EMS for a mental health evaluation and an emergency detention order by the Harris County Sheriff's Office. While her legs and arms were strapped to a stretcher, Johnson-Jackson was able to pull out a gun that was in an elastic-band holster around her torso, under her dress. 

Conroe PD Chief Jeff Christy addressed how police disarmed Johnson-Jackson, adding that no one was harmed in the incident. Johnson-Jackson was later arrested and charged with felony deadly conduct and a misdemeanor count of unlawful carry of weapon in a prohibited place.
