The Golden State Warriors won the NBA Finals after a battle with the Boston Celtics. Steph Curry’s journey during the season led him to become the Finals MVP, but Klay Thompson has seemingly stole the light with his comments about Memphis Grizzlies player Jaren Jackson Jr. following the Warriors’ win.
During the post-game conference, Thompson fired off some candid comments about a “player” who tweeted “strength in numbers” after a win by Memphis over the Warriors. Klay said, “There was this one player on the Grizzlies who tweeted 'Strength in numbers' after they beat us in the regular season, and it pissed me off so much.” Thompson leaned in even further, saying, “I can't wait to retweet that thing. Frickin' bum. I had to watch that, and I'm just like, 'This frickin' clown.'” The NBA champion said, “Sorry, that memory just popped up. Gonna mock us? Like, you ain't ever been there before, bruh. We've been there, we know what it takes. So, to be here again, hold that.”
