Legendary producer Rockwilder appeared on Math Hoffa’s podcast and spoke in detail about creating “Da Rockwilder” with Method Man and Redman.

The discussion found the producer revealing “Da Rockwilder” beat held the most pain he’d felt in the music industry at that point, saying he felt like he wasn’t getting a fair shot. The producer’s name ended up being the song's title, which he says had a negative effect on him because he didn’t want the fame.

Rockwilder said there would be points of him being in the club and having to get drunk and pop pills to listen to Red and Meth’s smash hit with his name on it. “I hated the people pointing at me and jumping up… I didn’t like that s**t,” said the producer.

From there, Rockwilder began to tear up as he described being scared of the money and fame, mainly because you have to deal with the responsibility that comes with it. Take a look above.
