Following Kyrie Irving’s decision to opt into the final year of his deal with the Brooklyn Nets for $36.5 million, Kevin Durant reportedly requested a trade from the team

The move comes after a season with the Nets, resulting in a playoff run that got them swept. The Nets lost the series 0-4 at the hands of the Boston Celtics. Many have commented on the turmoil during the free agency period in the NBA, and now the New York Post has delivered a headline coming right at Durant for requesting a trade.

The headline on their latest paper says, “Thin Man Has No Heart.” The byline continued by saying, “Durant begs out after a single playoff series win for $119.3M.” The newspaper then briefly broke down the request, saying the Nets’ GM was going to make a move happen, but the move was “sure to derail the franchise.” Take a look above.
