Previously, Drake hopped on Instagram and revealed he had a call with UFC fighter Israel Adesanya ahead of his fight with Jared Cannonier at UFC 276. The rapper also revealed he dropped a hefty $1 million bet and asked if he could walk out with the fighter.
Since then, Adesanya faced off against Cannonier and ended up getting the best of his opponent in the end. Adesanya consistently hit Cannonier through the rounds, although an accidental eye poke caused the fight to break for a minute. Upon coming back, Cannonier started to go hard with more hits toward Adesanya. The war ended with Adesanya getting the win via a decision. Take a look above.

Drake has been dropping a significant bag on sports betting, with the rapper recently vouching for UFC fighter Israel Adesanya in his fight against Jared Cannonier at UFC 276.
Drake took to Instagram to post a video of a FaceTime call he had with Adesanya and revealed he put a “light million” on the fighter. “One of the most inspiring guys to me…the death note author himself and my partner with @stake @stylebender BIG FIGHT TMRW…got a million on it 🤷🏽♂️,” said the rapper. Also, Drake expressed a “deep, deep respect” for the fighter before asking if he could walk Adesanya out for the fight. Watch above.
