Ever since his epic two-fight rivalry with Conor McGregor commenced in the late 2010s, Nate Diaz has been one of the most popular MMA fights in the UFC. But he's never experienced the thrill of capturing a championship belt. Nevertheless, he's still viewed by fans as one of the company's most quotable interviewees and best strikers. This is a notion that Shawny Mack of the Nelk Boy's "Full Send" Podcast can attest to firsthand. Shortly after the conclusion of UFC 276, Mack approached Diaz for an interview. But unfortunately for the reporter, he only managed to fire off one question before Diaz responded about a previous post that was made on social media. Then, Diaz hauled off and slapped the reporter upside the head, knocking off his baseball cap in the process.
"I'm here with Stockton's finest Nate Diaz," Shawny said. "He's coming to check out suga Shawn, right?"
Apparently, Diaz didn't appreciate Shawny's braggadocious commentary before the questions started either.
