Earlier this year, an accuser of Trey Songz came forward and shared a video of an alleged assault. According to attorneys of Trey Songz, a recent Las Vegas case against the singer that was dropped triggered the woman to come forward against Songz. Now, news has surfaced noting a woman who filed a $20 million lawsuit against Songz stemming from an incident in 2016 has had her lawsuit dropped.
The suit found “Jane Doe,” alleging she was at a house party in the West Hills in 2016 when the singer sexually assaulted her. The woman says after the alleged assault, she “grabbed her clothes and ran out of the house, leaving her underwear behind.” Jane Doe then tells the driver she got a ride from after fleeing saw she “was in emotional distress,” so they drove her to an emergency room where she was looked at, and the cops were alerted.
Documents were filed on June 29, 2022, to have the case against the singer dismissed without prejudice. Radar Online reported that the woman might refile at a later date.
