Update 07/08/2022 12:06pm:
Previously, prosecutors alleged that a nurse tried to smuggle drugs into jail for Gunna. The incident reportedly happened in May, and a nurse was found with “a bag full of marijuana and cocaine.” Now, it has been reported that the bond for Gunna has been denied again.
This past Thursday (July 7), a judge called out concerns that Gunna may threaten or intimidate witnesses if he was released before his trial. Gunna’s lawyer Steve Sadow says the smuggling claims are false and revealed the rapper’s parents’ reaction to the judge’s decision. “All they’re looking for is their son to get a fair shake, and they don’t think that’s happening so far,” said Sadow. Stay tuned for more updates.

Update 05/12/2022 9:51am:
"Pushin' P" rapper Gunna surrendered to authorities earlier this week as part of a 28-person indictment involving people associated with the Young Stoner Life (YSL) collective. He is facing one count of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.
On Wednesday (May 12), Gunna appeared in court for a bond hearing, and he was denied bond. The attorneys representing Gunna, which includes Donald F. Samuel, John A. Garland and Kristen W. Novay, released a statement about the charges. The statement reads, "Mr. Sergio Kitchens, known as Gunna, is innocent. The indictment falsely portrays his music as part of a criminal conspiracy. Mr. Kitchens has been an advocate for his community, and it is our privilege to advocate for him."
Young Thug was also denied bond after appearing in front of Judge Robert Wolf via video from Fulton County Jail on Wednesday (May 11). Young Thug is facing charges of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act and one count of participation in criminal street gang activity. Drugs and guns were also found in Young Thug's home after authorities executed a search warrant, which led to more charges.

According to Atlanta's CBS 46, Gunna surrendered to authorities on Monday (May 10) night following a sweeping arrest of 27 other YSL members, including Young Thug, on RICO charges. Gunna is now facing charges of Conspiracy to Violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).
Fulton County DA Fani Willis addressed the arrests during a press conference, where she stated, "As the District Attorney of Fulton County my number one focus is targeting gangs, and there’s a reason for that, they are committing conservatively 75 to 80% of all of the violent crime that we are seeing within our community and so they have to be rooted out of our community."
Willis added, "It does not matter what your notoriety is, what your fame is if you come to Fulton County Georgia and you commit crimes, and certainly if those crimes are in furtherance of street gangs that you are going to become a target and a focus of this district attorney’s office, and we are going to prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law."
Young Thug's attorney, Brian Steele, addressed the situation, stating, "Mr. Williams has committed no violation of law, whatsoever. We will fight this case ethically, legally and zealously. Mr. Williams will be cleared."
