In the past year, Boosie has partaken in a series of interviews with DJ Vlad, where he addressed his legal predicament with his former mentee, Yung Bleu. However, in a recent sit-down with VladTV, the Baton Rouge native went a little more into detail about Yung Bleu's claim that he was never signed to Boosie, citing his brother, Taquari "TQ" Hatch as one of the main reason's why their business relationship went sour. The "Better Believe It" rapper also alleged that TQ and Yung Bleu cut him out of their business dealings before stating that he would have taken the two of them "anywhere they wanted to go" to achieve success in the music industry. This didn't sit well with Boosie's brother/former manager who responded to his brother's interview with VladTV, via Instagram stories with a post alleging that his brother doesn't have the business savvy to take someone's career to the next level, implying that he was actually more of a hinderance to up and coming artists.

"Here's over 20 BADAZZ Artist Boosie signed," TQ wrote. "These are just the ones I remember. Some of the dudes should have been getting a [bag emoji]. But show me where BOO as CEO invested in their project, released their project or took them somewhere...Stop the [cap emoji]. Also peep who I signed. Tell the truth. It's going to come out anyway. #IYKYK"
