Previously, it was reported that Drake’s private jet landed in Sweden. From there, rumors surfaced noting the rapper and his entourage were allegedly arrested in Sweden due to marijuana charges. However, the rapper’s team confirmed that is not the case.

The alleged rumors were debunked by journalist Philip Lewis, who took to Twitter to reveal what he was told. Lewis reportedly confirmed the news via the police, saying, “FYI: I talked to Swedish police, and they told me Drake is not currently in their custody. (That was the only info they would give).” From there, Lewis said, “From Drake’s team: ’Drake is at his hotel and has not been arrested.’” The news seemingly spread like wildfire, with many concerned the rumors would play similar to A$AP Rocky’s arrest in Sweden in 2019.
