A fight broke out at an AAU basketball game this past weekend when a referee was attacked after getting in an argument with a coach that turned physical. The incident went down at the Hardwood Classic x RecruitLook Summer Finale in Kansas City and was sparked by a technical foul call.
The coach could be seen getting in the referee's face following the call, which led to the coach pushing the ref’s hand out of the way. From there, the ref threw a punch, and the two began to fight. However, many others came swarming the ref, seemingly jumping him before others stepped in to stop the fight.
Police responded to the call, but the fight was broken up by the time the cops got there. None of the victims pressed charges. Watch above.
